Horrible website, but I've heard maintenance on a lot of the pieces was poor at Aberdeen due to lack of support.

Dr. Joe Rainer of the US Army Ordnance Museum writes:

The U.S. Army Ordnance Museum has a new official website. Visit our webpage for the latest information about our move from Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, to Fort Lee, Virginia, special events, and closings.

The U.S. Army Ordnance Museum is open from 9:00AM to 4:45PM, seven days a week, except for major holidays. The Museum is open, however, on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. Admission is free, but voluntary donations may be placed in the plastic bomb in the museum lobby.

The move to Fort Lee is occurring in phases, but there is still plenty of time to visit the museum at Aberdeen Proving Ground before the move is completed in late 2011.
