Hi, all!

For the last three months, I have been busy making this Napoleonic layout set in deepest Spain.

Spanish layout

It is one of the best I have made thus far, and has been rather therapeutic as I could just indulge my creative imagination.

It was built with skirmish games in mind, and I had visions of 95th Rifles desperately defending against Napoleon's mighty legions.

It comprises a small town on a slight ridge, with many of the houses roofs being lift-off, so figures can better defend the river crossings, and with plenty of walled enclosures and gardens. Two roads lead out of town, roads across the river to some walled fields of corn and wheat, which offer plenty of cover for any attacking forces.

The two sections seen here measure 4ft x 3ft each.

There is a third 5ft x 4ft section which attaches onto the corn field section, and comprises a earth redoubt fort and hilltop village in the shadow of some mountains.

The whole layout measures 11ft x 4ft, is packed with detail, and can also easily be used for Italy and WWII.

Spanish layout

I have now decided to sell it, along with a number of other models and layouts. Ideally the layout is best seen in the flesh here in York, U.K.

It's the last Spanish layout I am going to make, so please get in touch via touchinghistory@aol.com for the price and to arrange a viewing.

All the best to everyone!
