I've been adding jungle plants and loads of custom stuff to my Heroscape hexes for a while now (though I don't actually "play" Heroscape with the terrain). I was thinking about GW trees for my table, until I saw those! Those are MUCH better looking all around.

Truth of Heroscapers writes:

Hasbro's booth at Comic-Con revealed several upcoming releases that have the Heroscape community abuzz. From new terrain and master sets to new Marvel Heroscape figures and a great convention exclusive, the hotly anticipated releases have given Heroscape fans a much-needed shot of excitement.

Comic-Con

The biggest news of the announced supplements was the addition of the sixth Heroscape general. While Aquilla will start off with a small number of followers, the new figure types make up for their limited supply with diversity. New spiders, a giant wasp, and finally a monk hero open Aquilla's bid for power in Valhalla.

The monk hero Master Win Chiu Woo is the first Aquilla hero, and he is also the convention exclusive this year. Fans who missed this new figure at Comic-Con can look forward to seeing him at Gen Con.

Swarm of the Marro is a whole new master set, this time with swamp terrain and several new Marro fighters, plus updated versions of Sergeant Drake and Raelin.

To complement the new swamp terrain, Hasbro also revealed Ticalla Jungle, a new terrain type that comes with Aquilla's second troop type, the Fydrlag Spiders.

Aquilla's Alliance - a set of large heroes - gives Heroscape fans another dragon, a cyclops, and other figures, including the third Aquilla unit, a giant flying wasp.

Heroscape reinforcements

On the Marvel Heroscape front, Hasbro previews several upcoming figures, including three of the Fantastic Four, Punisher, and Black Panther, to name a few. Spiderman has new foes in the form of Doctor Octopus and Sandman, and the Fantastic Four will be hard-pressed to deal with the power of Super Skrull.
