Field Marshall

Falklands was 1982, only real change was that by the late 80s the British army was equiped with the SA80 rather than the SLR and Sterling SMG. They should fit in really well. I've the Mo-Fo Brits from Gripping Beast which match the Mongrel figures very well, they just need some heavy weapons.

28mm Soviet Motorized Infantry

Soviets

First set of mid-1980s Soviet soldiers have been completed and cast. These have been in the planning and pre-production stage for months, and are the start of a major new range.

Soviets

These Motorized Infantry wear the lightweight 'KLMK' camouflage suit, and are kitted out with 6B-2 body armor. I wanted a pretty uniform appearance for this group, and all wear the old-fashioned marching boots. The (then) latest Kalashnikov, the AK-74, is carried along with the RPD-74, SVD sniper rifle, and RPG-7. A soldier with an under-slung grenade-launcher-equipped AK-74 is also represented.
