New Ninja Magic Releases At Rattlehead Games

8 directions, actually, since the game I'm developing operates on 45 degree angles. Though it turns out that feature is never used.

I may eventually develop a 12-direction adapter (I actually had a 6-direction adapter prototyped that I accidently broke), but it's an effort that has little practical application in most games. Unless you have a movement direction arrow painted or otherwise stuck on the stand, where the ship pivoting on its stand has meaning (and assuming you're playing a game where a ship's facing is not tied to its direction of travel – which is relatively rare these days), it's easier to just turn the ship normally.

I had talked with Ken Burnside about creating ones for use in his AV:T and SITS games, since that feature would have practical application, but it's not something I've worked on yet due to being busy with the convention season.

I'm pleased to announce that three new Kikoku ships are being added to Rattlehead Games's inventory of the With Hostile Intent miniature line.

Tipaka Class Battleship: $20 USD

Tipaka Class Battleship

The Tipaka is a monster of a miniature, approximately four inches long and weighing at least a half a pound. If not for its size, its armaments clearly make it the centerpiece of the fleet.

Kito Kapak Class Carrier: $18 USD

Though not as heavy as the Tipaka, the Kiko Kapak is nonetheless an impressive miniature. Highly anticipated by followers of these news reports, this ship's design seems to be highly favored.

Tak Kuta Class Corvette: $6 USD

On the other end of the spectrum, the tiny Tak Kuta looks like a minnow next to the other new releases. What they lack in size, they make up in numbers; these miniatures come three to a pack.

Delivery on magnetic adapters will be a bit delayed, as they are undergoing a minor engineering adjustment. I hope production will resume sometime within the next several weeks, and I will make another news announcement when it does. Thank you for your patience.
