Some units in Normandy used the Russian 76 infantry gun in lieu of the iG18… …but that was almost certainly the M1927… …rather than the M1943. The divisional piece probably the M1939… …was used in the artillery batteries of a large number of units instead of the 10.5cm Howitzer. |
