Plastic Napoleonic British 3 Up's

Napoleonic British

Well, you'd probably guessed already it was going to be British if you'd been following the 1815 Napoleonic range's progress. This one had been on the 'secret list' from the beginning of our plastic venture. We've still got a way to go with these, so don't expect anything soon.

The idea behind this box, as you can see, is a typical British firing line. The figure poses will combine to form a cohesive unit. Also, in one box there will be enough parts to make infantry for either the Waterloo or Peninsular Campaign. The officers have plug-in coat-tails (the longer cut for the Peninsular War) and headgear appropriate to the particular campaigns.

Napoleonic British

We are aiming to squeeze enough parts for a 36-man line battalion - command, centre and flank companies included. We also hope to squeeze in 6 riflemen skirmishing, if we have the space on the sprues. We will endeavor to make enough arms in a non-firing pose to cover the whole battalion, for those who prefer a unit without that pose. Again, this is all down to space on the frames.

This box will be backed up with a full British/Hanoverian range in metal.

We'll add more photos to the Plastic Workbench on our site in time.

That's all for now…
