Jim Wallman writes:

It is a brilliant model – I was one of the judges at Salute and I thought the attention to detail and the sheer playability of it was excellent. Its not just a static model – I thought the idea of being able to fight inside it made it more than a background prop.

Good luck on the sale – If only I had room for one!

Stalingrad Grain Elevator

Award-Winning Demonstration Terrain

"The Stalingrad Grain Elevator"

Due to space required for new projects, I am selling this award-winning demonstration-game scenery on eBay: auction

This terrain has been seen extensively on the web, in magazine articles, and at most of the major wargames shows in 2005, winning much acclaim and several awards.

Stalingrad Grain Elevator

The scenery was built to provide the terrain depicting the famous Battle for the Grain Elevator during the defence of Stalingrad. The terrain is scaled at 20mm (1/72) and is a remarkable 6ft x 8ft x 4ft high (aprox), consisting of six modular 2ft x 4ft fully detailed terrain boards. The base boards are of dense Insulation foam, with the majority of the construction in 3mm MDF. Modelled are the Grain elevator, power house, factory buildings and destroyed workers settlement. The main buildings are removable for storage and transport, and the silo section is hollow to faciliate additional storage.
