Soviet Guards Armoured Troopers for Secrets of the Third Reich

I think sometimes there is a tendency to exaggerate the capability of the German army and denigrate the Soviets (must be very frustrating to some that their beloved Wehrmacht could have been trashed by a load of Russkis)- there were just over 3000 Panthers built compared to 32,000+ T34/76s – by 1944 80% of Russian tanks had radios. Yes the Germans "constantly developed improved models" – resulting in them having penny packet numbers. Its like their uniforms – very nice but in 1944 did you really need such resources devoted to cuff titles and waffenfarbe – they would have been far better off developing fewer models and making more – but then any country that fights two 2 front wars in 25 years is not too strong in the forethought and planning department
