As from September 1st, Warmachine and Hordes will see a price increase to bring the older miniatures into line with the prices of the newer models and compensate for the 200% increase in tin prices. Most of the miniatures haven't seen a price increase in 5 years, so it is to be expected. The worst-effected products will be the Battlegroups and the early miniatures.
Many of the increases are insignificant - £1.00 GBP or £0.50 GBP added. However, many of the larger box sets are being increased by 10% and all battle-groups/war-packs will go up to £32.99 GBP.
We will be holding all prices at their current level until the end of next week, so you can get the re-stocks along with both sets of new releases. We've been waiting until more re-stocks were available before informing you of the increase, these long-awaited re-stocks should arrive at the start of next week. After that, the prices will go up accordingly.
Following this news, we (Wargames Workshop) are now putting in a large order to get as much stock as we can, to hold off putting our prices up for as long as possible. So if you are in the U.K., and thinking of getting some figures - most important if you are just getting started, and after a Battlegroup box - GET IT NOW!
