The Trumpeter Tabletop Gaming Convention is coming up! March 12th through the 14th at the Bonsor Recreation Centre in Burnaby, BC. The Trumpeter Salute has been held annually since 1973. The Trumpeter Convention showcases many types of miniature and boardgames. From Euro boardgames, naval games, air combat, skirmish, ancients, Napoleonic, American Civil War, 40K, WHFB, to Star Wars and more!
Three rooms are needed to hold this thing!
This year, in addition to participation games by our local gamers and their clubs, we have three tournaments booked! We have a 20-player late-war Flames of War tourney, a 24-player 40K tourney, and a 20-player Warmachine tourney. Check out the webpage at trumpetersalute.com for all the details!
Vendors this year include Imperial Hobbies, Pulp Figures, Hotz ArtWorks, Uncle Mike's Worldwide, Checkpoint Charlie and Kingsford Miniatures.
There is food and drink available from our concession stand, as well as walking distance to Metrotown's Food Court and nearby restaurants. There's a Hilton hotel and a Holiday Inn Express within walking distance, for those who need a place to stay.
