We're very pleased to announce that our latest hard-plastic figures - the Vikings - the first in our Hammer of the Gods Dark Ages range - is now available! (With a twist!)
We've come a long way since releasing our first two hard-plastic sets one year ago - as the year has progressed, we've been incredibly focused on improving our figures. The areas that we've been focused on improvement are:
- Plastic
- a darker, matte grey plastic that shows off the detail
- Sculpting
- a more detailed, proportional 28mm figure with loads of character
- Detail
- deeper, crisper, more "metal-like" details to rival any other 28mm wargames figures on the market
- Molding
- super-fine mold lines (or none at all, in some cases!)
- Sprue Layout
- well-thought sprue design to make sure we include as many parts and options as possible, so that each set gives you everything you need to build full units and even various types of units from one set (i.e. heavy infantry and/or skirmishers - and always command included)
It's going to take a little bit of time to put the packaging together for these for the full 24-figure set - so in the meantime, we wanted to make these available in a special eight-Viking Sampler Set! This set is available for $4.95 USD for the eight figures - which includes three unique sprues: one with four armored (chainmail) bodies and arms, another with four unarmored bodies and arms, and a third with all the heads, weapons, and shields to outfit your unit!
We'll also be including these sample packs with every retailer order, so that they can show them off in the stores and let people see what's coming!
The new logo for the Hammer of the Gods range will be along shortly as well, and we'll talk about what will be included in the full 24-figure set.
