Once More, We Are Getting a Bit Crazy & Going to Berlin!

Check Your 6!

In a super-charged repeat of our 2009 Historicon spectacular, the SkirmishCampaigns gang will be doing two huge bomber scenarios (over 100 1:300 B-17s each), both taking place as part of Mission 250, the first bombing raid on Berlin, 6 March 1944. This will definitely be the largest air-game we have ever run.

Please come join us (there are plenty of aircraft)... or just enjoy the entertainment of the pre-mission briefings and trash-talking banter!

The first scenario, Target Berlin, takes place at a little past 1200, when elements of the 1st Bomb Division (1st and 94th Combat Wings), escorted by P-51Bs of the 357th and 354th FG (target support), engage a large German battlegroup from ZG.26 with top cover provided by JG.3.

The second scenario, Get Home, takes place about 1450 hours, where elements of the 1st Bomb Division (13th and 45th Combat Wings [including 388 BG with Lt. Monty Givens), are returning from Berlin and are escorted by P-47s of the 361st FG (withdrawal support) and are engaged by a large German force from JG.11

The sessions are Saturday, S-221 and S-222 (1200-1600) and S-223 and S-224 (1800-2200) in Ballroom E.

Hope to See You There!
