I would like to announce that the first Miniature-Heroes painting competition is now open for entries. In keeping with my site, it's a Paint a Classic affair - which I hope will be a lot of fun for all those who take part.

Miniature Heroes website

Mirliton, Reaper and Mannequin have all provided miniatures as prizes.

I also hope to have a series of limited-edition miniatures from the talented Cindy Dukino fairly soon. One full set of four will be added to the first prize only.

Miniature-Heroes is providing:

1st Prize
£25.00 GBP credit for anything in the shop + Trophy
2nd Prize
£15.00 GBP credit for anything in the shop + Trophy
3rd Prize
£5.00 GBP credit for anything in the shop + Trophy

For those who don't paint or don't feel they're good enough, I'm also doing a fun photo competition. It's basically take a pic of a certain miniature in a funny situation.

Only one winner.

Prize is a trophy and a £15.00 GBP Miniature-Heroes credit.

Lastly, I'm sponsoring and organizing the Heroes Awards 2009. Nominate your choices for Best Miniature Company 2009, Best Miniature Sculpture 2009, and Best Miniature produced in 2009.

There is a trophy for each category, which will be sent to the winners.

More details and rules on my forum under The Heroes 2009. All I ask is that you join the forum to enter, which is free.
