Hi Alan,

There is a Yahoo Group, unsurprisingly called 'Forge of War'. You can find it here: link

It is not public but I haven't refused a membership yet :)

The only problem you might find is that currently I do not have internet access during the week as I am working away from home, so you may have to wait until Thursday/Friday.

The Stargate version has been discussed but not fleshed out yet. Perhaps you'd like to produce SGC & Jafar force lists?

Cheers,
Craig.

The Forge of War design group has just put the finishing touches on the 2nd editon of Forge of War. We have gotten really positive feedback from those who have playtested it, including a number of members here on TMP.

For anyone not familiar with the Forge of War skirmish ruleset, it is designed to provide a fast-paced yet gritty and realistic sci-fi combat experience.

Since its inception and initial publication, Forge of War has attracted a wide range of players who were dissatisfied with the Science Fantasy approach of some popular rulesets. Its core mechanics lead the players to make those difficult decisions faced by commanders on the ground and to bear the inevitable and bloody consequences of sending their men to their deaths.

This second edition is really an evolutionary leap for the Forge of War, with streamlined gameplay mechanics, atmospheric illustrations, informative diagrams, and even templates that will allow gamers to devise stats for importing their own existing sci-fi or modern armies into the Forge of War system.

All in all, the second edition of Forge of War is set to give anyone looking for fast and tactically challenging sci-fi ground combat a most satisfying gaming experience.

Best of all, Forge of War is and will always remain free!
