DGS Games Demonstrates Freeblades Game on New Terrain Board

Back to Hobby News

Tom at DGS Games writes:

Thanks for the kind words. We have considered actually selling some of this terrain ourselves, but the focus of DGS is on miniatures. We are concerned that attempting to build and sell terrain will detract from our ability to continue to produce the high quality miniatures we have now.

In the mean time, come to a game we are running at a convention and play on our custom terrain tables.

Tom at DGS Games of DGS Games, LLC writes:

DGS Games, LLC, unveiled a new terrain table at the Recruits game convention in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Each of the company terrain tables represent actual terrain from the company's fantasy world of Faelon. This new table features a mammoth animal graveyard, mostly open ground, and some sparse trees.

DGS ran Freeblades demonstration games on the table throughout the convention, and almost all the time slots were filled with players. You can see more photos and descriptions at the company designer's blog here.

The terrain table was designed and built by DGS member Jason Moore. Photos were taken by Mark Gunter.
