Old Bear of AKR Productions writes:

Launch of New Science Fiction and Fantasy Wargaming Magazine - November 2009

The Ancible

A magazine that will provide a much-missed window onto the world of science fiction and fantasy wargaming

Swindon, U.K. - AKR Productions Limited announces today the official launch of The Ancible, an 84-page colour magazine devoted to all aspects of science fiction and fantasy wargaming.

The Ancible will provide information and resources on products, events, and the individuals involved in the industry; focusing particularly on the genres of science fiction and fantasy.

The Ancible was established by Kenny Robb, Managing Director of AKR Productions Limited. Kenny plans to develop and expand The Ancible on a national and international level.

Graham Clarke of Simple Miniature Games comments: "For too long we've waited for someone to step in and fill the gap in the market place. It's really exciting that Kenny has decided to take this step. This new magazine will deliver an important independent resource to compliment the industry and I'm encouraging all the stores I work with to carry the new magazine and make the most of the advertising and promotional opportunities it offers. It will give manufacturers and retailers alike the platform to show off their ranges and games."

The Ancible will be a voice to independently promote all forms of science fiction and fantasy wargaming. It will increase awareness and understanding of various games systems, products and services, but most importantly, offer an independent introduction and opinion on current and new offerings. In short, The Ancible aims to be the first port of call when tabletop gamers are looking for new or existing games to play.
