Promotional Figure
To celebrate the re-release of the Spartan and Ancient World lines, Gorgon Studios is offering a promotional figure for orders over $30 USD (online orders only). This is a limited-time offer, and supplies are limited. We can't reveal the identity of this first historical giveaway model yet, but we can tell you that this mysterious stranger has traveled across the sea from the east. Photos of the promotional model are forthcoming, but we have been able to post a teaser image for the time being. This figure is a great example of the kinds of models and ranges Gorgon will bring you in the future.
This is Sparta!
This week sees the re-release of Steve Saleh's early (circa 480 BC) Spartan 28mm miniatures. Previously available from Artizan Designs, the range is now offered by Gorgon Studios. At the Hot Gates is an extensive collection of early Spartan warriors appropriately equipped for the legendary battles against the Persian Empire. From linothorax-armored hoplites to lowly helot skirmishers, the range provides enough variety and options to recreate one of the most feared and celebrated armies ever to take the field.
At the Hot Gates includes a number of command figures, including the great king Leonidas, musicians and officers. The range is now packaged in groups of four figures for flexibility, and is appropriate for any 25/28mm system - including Warhammer Ancients Battles, Field of Glory, Impetus and DBA.

Steve Saleh and Gorgon Studios are proud to present a range of classic 28mm historical characters. Packed full of personality and narrative - these models will make excellent command figures, role-playing characters or display pieces. This range will eventually cover a number of ancient periods, from Classical Greece to Caesar's Gallic campaign.
