Here's the first frame of the AWI Continentals back from Renedra, and what a great job they've done yet again!
This is a frame of two figures in hunting shirts which have many possibilities. Although we are calling this 'the rifleman frame', the figures can be used as riflemen with the addition of the rifle arms and separate hunting horns, or Continentals in hunting shirts advancing formally, shouldered muskets or marching casually with muskets resting on the shoulders. There's even an additional arm with a pipe. There will be two of these frames in the boxed set, but we will also sell them separately direct from us, so if you want to form full regiments in hunting shirts, which was not uncommon, you will be able to.
Michael's been busy too. These 3-ups are work in progress of the Foot Knights (or, more accurately, Men at Arms) for the period 1450-1500. They will be 28mm hard plastic, multi-pose figures with separate heads, arms (with weapons attached where possible), and sword scabbards, which will all match join-wise with the previous sets. As you can see, there are bits that need finishing, as well as a bunch of other arm and weapon combinations and more heads. There's no release date for these, but they will be next in the queue after the AWI Continentals.
