"Yeah, credit should definately be given were it's due. All figures in those two pictures are from GZG line of figures and are my brand of choice for 15mm (hope the check is in the mail now Jon ;-))."

No cheque, but maybe a few extra freebies next time you order from us! ;-)

After months of frantic work, figure painting and preliminary playtesting, I have finally gotten to the point where Conquest Galactica is able to open its doors for a more public playtest. If you're interested in company-level 15/10/6mm sci-fi gaming with a couple of gaming twists and turns, then keep reading!

301st Mobile Infantry on the move

As mentioned, Conquest Galactica is a science-fiction wargame, with its emphasis fixed on taking the role of a company commander in the year 2439 as you battle against various forms of technology and ideologies in a bid to carve out an empire among the stars and unite the unruly planets of the Terran Hegemony.

Conquest Galactica has been designed with 15mm figures in mind, although you are more than welcome to use any small-scale figures for testing purposes. The driving philosophy behind the game design has been one of combining flavour as well as simplicity. The object is for the game to run equally well in a more club-orientated atmosphere as well as a tournament circuit, but with a strong emphasis on fun.

What I'm looking for in this first round of playtest is to check if the ideas have been transferred correctly from mind to keyboard to reader, as well as an actual playtest of the game core-mechanics as well. Future rounds of playtesting will focus on the various army lists and, finally, the whole shebang is put under close nitpicking before finally being published to the wargaming crowd!

And to those playtesters who stick around long enough, there will be a free copy of the rules and a very heartfelt thank you for your help along the way!

A section of Hole Punch Gauss Cannons at the ready

If you're still with me, then shoot an email to phoenikuz@gmail.com stating your interest in signing up for playtesting. I'm still working on setting up some form of playtesting forum, and will keep those interested posted. Question, comments and so on can also be directed to the email address listed above.

Thanks for your time!
