The fearsome warjacks and dark industries of Cryx are fueled by a charnel material known as Necrotite. Necrotite is created at sites of bloodshed and slaughter where the earth itself has been stained by agony and death. Over time, a lusterless dark mineral forms that at first glance resembles coal, but upon closer inspection reveals something far more sinister. The vile mineral unleashes necrotic energy which can be harnessed by skilled Necrotechs. Mining crews set up these foul mining rigs across the Iron Kingdoms, and guard them violently as their foes seek to rob them of their unholy resource.
