I may be the only one, but I like his work. I really enjoyed the Riddick movies. It was a tough sell-gothic sci-fi sells well here(see GW), but most people don't enjoy it. I'd really like to see him a D&D movie. Not the cheesy movies that have been produced thus far-but something darker and closer to the games I played as a kid.

Wizards of the Coast announces:

Worldwide Dungeons & Dragons Game Day is this Saturday, November 4! The year's biggest celebration of D&D will take place at over 1,000 locations around the world, including the Worldwide D&D Game Day event in Hollywood, CA, where the finalists in the D&D Fan Film Contest will be screened in a special event hosted by celebrity D&D gamer Hal Sparks. Participation at the Hollywood, California, edition of Worldwide Game Day is by advance registration only, and just eleven spots remain. Gamers who attend will enjoy food, friends and free stuff, plus will participate in the official Game Day adventure The Curse of Gethin Abbey.

To register for one of these eleven remaining spots, send an email with your full name and your preferred game time (1:30, 3:45 and 4:00 times are still available) to gamedayrsvp@hunterpr.com. If space is available, you will receive confirmation of your time, as well as the location address and other information by 3:00 PM PST tomorrow (Friday, November 3).
