the fighting takes place in an area of stellar dust and forming stars, so the use of high velocities and jump drive as a common feature of combat is limited; I'm thinking the reviewer is one of these people who prefers the visual appearance of SF gaming rather than the complicated aspects of the 'science' behind it.
