Vincent – The Second Regiment was present, about 300 men of the First Regiment would have been present, but they were sent back to escort pack trains bringing up supplies to keep those supplies from being raided by deserting militia. The Levies that were present were "regulars" of a sort, but only in service for six months. Less than desirable troops. Kirkwood is an amazing character…to have fought in over thirty battles and skirmishes during the Revolution only to die at the Wabash is almost a shame.

Grey – This is the worst defeat, not just one of the worst.
