i will finnish the panther when i see the painted tiger 2!
we will be doing some russian trucks, after i have finnished the british ones.
when you buy the kits you will get some info on which carrarama chassis to buy and what to do with it.
we are hoping to do some already finnished and have them for sale at salute, and they should be comaptable with all 28mm figs if they are 28mm,
the truck shown at crusade 06 is a big truck, sometimes people dont realise how big the m923 6x6 actualy is, its huge.
dont stop giving us more ideas for more trucks as well, we welcome all comments good and bad.

S&S Models have released 3 new modern softskins in 28mm (1/60) scale.

Three new truck conversions from S&S

These are resin-and-white-metal conversions for the Carrarama-Hongwell diecast trucks, widely available in toy shops, toy fairs, and on eBay from a few pounds.

2.5-ton M35 6X6 G.S.

In most cases, the chassis will be needed to be trimmed, and the resin cab and body just drop straight on - a cheap and easy way to increase your army transport. We will be offering a few of these trucks already converted and primed at the Salute 2006 show.

More vehicles will follow, including Bedford tm 4x4 and 6x6, South African Samil 6x6, and Renault tm 4x4, as well as a few of the American fmtv 4x4 and 6x6 range. A Vietnam gun truck will also follow, with metal guns and other accessories.

Those lucky enough to see the samples at Crusade in January said what a good and unique idea, so we plan to add more as and when. We would also welcome your ideas as to what trucks you would like, as big modern softskins are a bit thin on the ground in 28mm (1/60) scale. Drop me your suggestions at sandsmodels@supanet.com.
