Third Army Corps American Civil War 15mm Headquarters Flag Sheet
Publisher: Historic Imagination
Flags played a prominent role in the American Civil War. While most, if not all, individual regiments carried a battle flag into combat, the higher organizations also carried a flag to let soldiers know where the unit headquarters was located, and where to find the commanding officer.
This sheet features the designating flags flown by the units in the Union Third Army Corps from 1863 to 1864. Each sheet is 600 dpi for maximum crispness and clarity for a PDF file. Each file provides detailed instructions on how best to use the flags, as well as a short history of the use of the flags by the unit. Simply print up the flag page, cut them out carefully, and glue them to the flagpole on your miniature. The best part is if you make a mistake, you can simply print the page again!
If at any time new research leads me to update the sheet, you will get a notice and be able to download the new sheet for free!
