We're very pleased to make our first foray into the wilds of 6mm sci-fi/NF gaming with these vehicles, designed by John Bear Ross.

The APC is one piece, and the tanks are two (a hull and a turret). However, each tank comes with two turrets - one with a conventional sentient crew, but the other can either represent a robot or crewless gun turret.
The models are pewter to lend weight to their placement on the table.
These vehicles are brought to you by the good people at Mercanto-Dett Military Solutions, a multi-planetary defence contractor located on New New South Wales (NNSW), a planet in the New Australian Freehold (NAF). They sell these things into warzones to the highest bidder, as long as the buyers aren't of a political persuasion inimical to the company's flamboyant founder and CEO, Ruprecht Morder-Och. As a result, these usually get their vehicles from the U.S.P.R. (Union of Planetary Socialist Republics), and the opposing vehicles have faced off against each other on countless planets.

First we have the workhorse of the MDMS product line, the Cane Toad APC. A large medium-armored vehicle, it is capable of carrying twelve sentients into battle, then supporting them with its two SADUP laser turrets.

Next, we have the basic tank model in the range, the Goanna Mark 1, with a main tank gun to engage and destroy a series of enemies. It comes with both crewed or robot turrets. Goannas are all driven by robots, and you can see their little heads peering out of the hull, navigating faithfully - but with a robot turret, any of these tanks becomes a menacing full-fledged robot. (Robot turret not shown above - turns out there was a hair stuck to it!)

A variation of the basic Goanna for urban warfare, the versatile Goanna Mark 2 has a heavy rotary cannon capable of ripping up the entire building the enemy infantry are hiding in, and wiping out more conventionally armed enemy tanks before they get a shot in.

Finally, for those engagements in which daunting enemy armoured resistance is expected, customers ask for the mighty Taipan Tank Destroyer by name! With its awesome 7mm railgun, the Taipan is capable of engaging and destroying targets many times its cost... size, that is.
We'll be releasing these designs in 15mm, too, with a whole variety of crews to man them, but we wanted to give the 6mm gamers precedence this time! If these take off, we'll release some of our other vehicles in 6mm scale, too. If that happens, probably the Nova Respublik vehicles will come first - based on the appearance of the MDMS vehicles and their Nova Respublik opposite numbers, gamers then can model sci-fi confrontations looking rather similar to the great East/West tank face-off in Europe and the Middle East in the 1960s-1970s.
