Cannot wait. I'll be running a new medieval game set in the WOTR using squares for individual movement and measurement. Knighthood and The Middle Ages revisited :)

The Maine Historical Wargamers' Association is pleased to announce that the PEL for our February 27th Game Day is available for download, and the prereg period is open!

Western gaming in Maine

The PEL can be download here.

The theme for this game is Winter Wars:

Winter Wars: the title brings to mind, Finns fighting Russians or Ney charging into a blizzard. A little more thought might bring up the Russian general winter (Stalingrad, the battle for Moscow) or Valley Forge, the Battle of Trenton... A stretch of the imagination might wonder if it isn't always winter at 30,000 feet over the Reich. If you have Cabin Fever or have gone Shack Happy we might have the cure. So stick out your tongue and give this Maine winter a Bronx cheer, strap on you snowshoes or tire chains and join the Maine Historical Wargamers as we present our Winter Wars.
