Hello Jorge, yes, you can use the same figure for Rough Riders and federal dismounted cavalry (except Buffalo soldiers of course, who will be soon available) armed with the Krag-Jörgensen carbines.

For infantry, the available Federal Infantry are armed with the Krag-Jörgensen rifle and bayonets, while the State Troops (also soon available) with the old Sprinfields.
