In response to several requests and with a desire to promote and share our interest in MesoAmerican Warfare and gaming, Neil of Troop-of-Shewe and Karl Lowthian have combined forces to present:

The Feathered Serpent Project

The business end of the Great Temple

We aim to provide an online pictorial resource for anything to do Aztec, Mayan, Inca, Conquistador, etc., etc., gaming. In turn, we are also developing our grand skirmish ruleset, The Feathered Serpent - initially covering the Conquest, which will encompass as many MesoAmerican cultures as we can research. The first blooding of the rules was at Salute 07 with the Siege of Tenochtitlan demonstration game. The second outing will be at Bovington, with a possible battle of Otumba later in the year.

Overview of the 14ft table at Salute 07

We intend the gallery to provide a wealth of pictures, focussing primarily on painted miniatures from all ranges, size comparisons, games in progress, conversions, terrain etc., etc. The gallery has been populated with some work so far, covering previous Aztec commissions and work. I have uploaded pictures of the Salute 07 Tenochtitlan game, and you will also find pictures of its construction (of which I intend to add a "how to" guide in the future).

We welcome any further pictures, discussion and contributions, and hope to see you around the shows.
