We have published a report of the second edition of the Golgo Banana Showdown, the annual gaming weekend organized by Golgo Island in association with East Riding Miniatures, manufacturers of the range. It can be found on the Gangs of Golgoville blog.
Hosted by the Sartrouville Figurines et Jeux club, the event took place on August 1 and 2. The campaign - set in the post-apocalyptic setting of Gangs of Golgoville - was organized as a tongue-in-cheek tournament pitting eleven Golgo Island/WarEngine players against each other, using figures from various sources in a lighthearted atmosphere.
A King of the Ring tournament (the rules of this game by Chien Sauvage can be found in PDF format in the download section of the Golgo Island website) was also run as a side competition.
