Rackham Files for Protection

Back to Hobby News

Long Island Gamer writes:

Dave – I think you're right on. If Rackham (or someone else) could get the financing and ability to get AT-43 into stores such as Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, etc. I think they would do wonderfully. They might even give Hasbro a run for their money.

The problem is can Rackham survive the first order? You don't want to get into a situation where the initial order will wipe out the bank account before the first check hits.

Time will tell.

Rackham has reportedly filed for the French equivalent of bankruptcy protection.

According to the filing information, Rackham blames slow European sales for AT-43 for their cash-flow problems, as well as declining sales for their Confrontation product line.

Trading in Rackham stock on the French stock market has been halted, and the company's accounts will be reviewed by French authorities.
