Time is running out on a steal of an auction we put up on eBay here.

We recently finished a revised version of our original Assault on the Deeping Wall piece. This diorama is up for auction in time for the holidays, and will be an absolute steal for the winner. We set the reserve so low on this auction that it doesn't even cover the cost of the miniatures used in it.
It's very easy to say that pictures don't do something justice, but in this case it happens to be true - there's a lot to see on this model, from all different angles.
The diorama captures a number of moments from the battle:
- Saruman's Orcs swarm up assault ladders as the Rohan defenders try to hold them back...
- A berserker has managed to gain a foothold on the ramparts...
- Beside the culvert is a toppled and broken ladder, dead orcs littering the ground around it...
- At the base of the wall, engineers are placing bombs within the drainage culvert, and a berserker's already started his run, flaming torch in hand...
The base size is an impressive 22 x 12 inches, and the wall itself stands 7 inches high. There are 130 Games Workshop 28mm figures on the model (all plastic), including a number of conversions (Uruk Hai captains, standard bearers, casualties, berserkers). The siege ladders have also been extended in length to give them a more realistic look.
