We are very pleased to expand our popular 28mm Siege Fortification series.
Suitable for hundreds of year's worth of history, from the late medieval period up to the end of the 19th Century, these pieces are based on gabions and other hastily constructed materials. The entire range is designed as a system and all the pieces work together. All the Siege Fortification pieces are available individually or in two different sets.
Here are some highlights of our new pieces:
Mine Head Section – Usable as either a powder store or a mine head. Digging long tunnels to undermine your enemy's fortifications (and even countermines to stop them!) can be a wonderful sub-game in a larger siege action. You can track the mines' progress each turn and so on.
Mantlet Sections – These sections feature tilting metal mantles to give your gunners extra cover from small arms and bow fire. Very suitable for medieval and other conflicts up until about 1750.
Angled Sections and Gabion Strips – Our new angled section allows you lots of options to ring your enemy. The gabion strips are designed for no assembly and quick painting, and have hundreds of uses.
Pictured below are the original six Siege Fortification pieces, also available as a set or individually.
For more gabions and increased versatility, don't forget the wonderful Renedra plastic Gabions also available in our store.
As always, all these pieces are in our flash-free "ready to paint" resin, with durable metal accessories where appropriate.
You can view all the sets and individual pieces on our website.
