On November 30, 2016, eight years ago, we started the journey of 1898 Miniaturas. In a miniature hobby world dominated by fantasy and sci-fiction (which we also love) and in which digital design and 3d printing were already beginning to burst with force, setting up a brand of 28mm historical miniatures in white-metal seemed to swim against the tide. Advantages of doing what you like.
In these eight years we have not been the brand that has released more news, it is true, our way of working is not the fastest or the most modern and we are not the best at managing our social networks. But our commitment is different, for a careful craftsmanship, for less mainstream periods, for a rigorous historical documentation, for a 360° proposal that includes history, painting and wargaming, without forgetting to have fun with what we do. What is the hobby base, from fan to fan.
And thanks to your trust and constant support, we already have eight ranges from four different historical periods behind us, and more is coming! 2025 is going to be an important year for us, in which we will develop our new Visigoth series while continuing the Thirty Years' War ranges with the long-awaited artillery (we promise!)… and who knows, maybe with some more surprises!
For those of us who have had miniatures in our veins since we were children, this is not a business, it is a way of life that we enjoy sharing with all of you. Thank you very much for being there.
