It's a set of miniature rules. When I first saw I thought it was a board game.

Infiltrate: Vietnam

A co-operative skirmish wargame, aimed at 15mm to 28mm miniatures, and designed to represent special forces and insurgent operations in the jungles of Vietnam in the 1960s and 70s. You will choose your weapons, you will track your ammo, and you will bring back the vital intelligence we require to win this war, either by force, by cunning, or both.

This game is designed for two to four players, or for solo play, and will see a small squad of special forces or NVA/VC soldiers working against AI flowchart-controlled enemies. The mechanics are a blend of simple and granular, making for a realistic and dangerous experience where players will need to use stealth and choose when to use force. Firing and running near enemies will cause them to react, and in some missions can cause more enemies to enter the area…

The game is played as a campaign – players generate their operatives, then attempt to survive as many missions as possible. There are nine mission types to choose from, and the available missions will be randomly determined in either low risk, medium risk, or high risk. Enemy forces will become more powerful as the risk level increases, and random events more deadly.

Players can play as MACV-SOG, Navy SEALs, LRRPs, Green Berets, ANZACs, Montagnards, Vietcong, or NVA.

Features realistic weapon and ammunition weights, and players will have a limit of how much weight they can take into battle. Players will find loot after missions, and may be forced to forage or subsist on captured weapons if they run low.

The rules include all the character sheets, tokens, and templates required for play.

There are different random event and loot tables for each side, with random events such as enemy tanks, unknown helicopters, enemy squads, sudden rainstorms, TIGERS, centipedes, or maybe just hearing a lizard saying "Bleeped text you… Bleeped text you…"

Imagine a blend of Rangers of Shadow Deep and Metal Gear Solid, but deep in the jungles of Vietnam, and across the fence into Laos and Cambodia… a deniable mission with limited support.
