Clearly I don't know exactly what all the people who buy our figures do with them. Most of our figures are what is rather loosely called heroic 28mm scale and are meant to be gamed with so I imagine that's what most people do with them. Most of the personalities in that range can and have been painted to top class standards (not by me of course).

We have only about a dozen figures in our 48mm Elder Lords Range so far but plan to go to two dozen. They are meant to be painted and displayed rather than gamed with and as far as I know that's what the people who buy them do with them.

Our figures in this 48mm scale are very reasonably priced (£6 GBP)compared with the price of 54mm figures and paint up just as brilliantly. I think discerning painters may have spotted this. Whether there would be enough demand in this particular niche for a big commercial manufacturer is of course another matter. But there is more than enough demand to keep a tiny outfit like us happy and I can see no reason for you to moan about it.

I think you may be wrong about birds in low riders and halter tops. They appear to sell well in any scale if decently sculpted. :-)

We've just published Issue 2 of our Middle of the Road Magazine. It features a very gentle mix of artwork, humor, painted miniatures, puzzles, sculpts and stories.

We've brought a couple of the sculpts along to show you.

The Lady S

First up is one of our 48mm tall Elder Lords of Skoog by the name of Lady S. She was sculpted for us by Bob Naismith.

Scarface Corrigan

Second up is 34mm tall Scarface Corrigan, who will end up as the Medical Officer for the Malone Crew. He was sculpted for us by Martin Baker.

If you like browsing through the sort of stuff in this magazine, or just want to see the rest of the figures, you'll find them all here.
