We are very pleased to considerably expand the 15mm armored fighting vehicles available for our popular Federal Army range of miniatures.
We have made a medium tank of a more reasonable size than the "concrete beast," the enormous Siler Tank! This tank is approximately the same size as an M1A2 or Challenger 2 tank at 1:100th scale. We have also made a large APC, the same length as the tank, suitable to carry large numbers of men in carapace armor into the fight in relative comfort, which has a positive effect on morale. Each of the two basic vehicles is available as either a conventional tracked design, or upgraded to first-generation anti-grav drive with the Federal Army's MEP (maneuverability enhancement program).
With four different vehicles and two options for each vehicle (single or platoon), that's eight new codes in the range! Here's what you can add to your 15mm armies.
First up, we have the Samson Medium Tracked Tank, which mounts a dual-purpose plasma gun with a coaxial HMG, as well as one of the awesome "Cohort" auto-track gatling guns which protect the tank from incoming missiles as well as enemy close action. The kit's main gun, posable turret hatches, and gatling gun are pewter; the rest being resin.
With the MEP upgrade for more and more Samson units, the anti-grav vehicle is designated the Samaritan Medium Anti-Grav Tank, and is capable of low hover and higher speeds than the Samson.
The Crusader Heavy Tracked APC is a large vehicle with a spacious passenger compartment, as well as a rapid-fire light plasma gun, eight heavy anti-material missiles, and a Cohort gatling gun.
With increasing numbers of the Samaritan Anti-Grav Tanks being brought into service, the Crusader needs to keep up to provide close infantry support to the armored thrusts, and the result is the Chasseur Heavy Anti-Grav APC.
All four of the vehicles are available in four-vehicle platoon packs as well, at a substantial discount. The kits were designed by Steve Tyler, and these models were painted by dwartist – great job, guys. They are available now, on both our "in-universe" 15mm sci-fi page, as well as the generic 15mm sci-fi vehicle store page (that's the link below, when you click "for more information").
