Thanks, we are so tied up dealing with the process of getting a set of rules professionally printed for the first time everything else is a bit of a blur (we are about to sit down and sort out the final proof/sign off).

They have been written specifically with 10mm figures in mind. They are designed around a unit representing a battalion (or section of guns) and use a 30x20mm basing system with infantry units having 6 bases, cavalry 4. 36 figures to most infantry units, 12 to cavalry.

There are options for larger games (a unit being a brigade) and smaller games (with a 1 to 1 company).

They cover the Napoleonic, rather than Revolutionary wars (really everything from when Napoleon starts his rise to power).

They are 'command' driven with generals having command ratings and being required to activate troops to do things other than react to events directly around them.

Designed for relatively fast play certianly finishing a game in an evening unless you put the entire Grand Armee on the table.

There will be a demonstration game of Quatre Bras running at our stand at Salute using the rules with Ian and Gareth running the game.

I have not finalised the price yet. I am guessing they will be £20.00 GBP GBP but if we can come in under that a bit we will. We should have 1000pt (or maybe 1,250 point, i am working on them right now as well) armies ready on the day and there will be a discount buying an army with the book. Much as we did with the ancient 1000pt armies and Warmaster when it was still available to sell.

If you have specific questions please let me know at info@magistermiltium.com

Cheers

Richard

We are excited to be able to tell you that our first set of rules is released. This 80-page ruleset, called Colours & Guns, whets your appetite for Napoleonic wargaming in our specialty, 10mm.

Colours & Guns

The rules are simple enough to get a grasp of quickly, but have enough variety and complexity to make it a game you'll want to play again and again. With so many nations to choose from, where will you begin……?

The rules are choc full of photos, diagrams, army lists, and sketches of some of the most famous commanders of the day. We've placed the quick play sheet on the back cover, so they don't take up much room on the table, and the spine of the book stays neat.

You can find them here.

Get your copy for £18.00 GBP, or take advantage of a deal when you buy an army – complete with all the bases you need – and the book together. Details on the web and more pictures and info on our Facebook page.
