Honestly, the sculpts are somewhat average. the buttons on the coats are huge. the animation and posing is stilted. Especially, when compared to Rebel minis or Khurasan.

Still I would reserve final judgement until I saw them in person. The paint jobs are not doing them any favors. Why do people still dry brush?

You are right.
You do need to reserve your judgement until you see them in person.

I have these very same figures in hand. THESE figures, not unpainted versions, as Dave was nice enough to sell them to me.

Sooooo, chalk it up to bad pictures because the sculpts are very good and the paint job is fantastic, right down to the carnation on the mob boss.

As for the animation it is realistic for the subject. FYI – Life is not an action movie where everyone is running for cover. The figures in firing poses are well, in firing poses, as you would shoot a gun. As a matter of fact the figures do a very good job of conveying emotion, the lady in the white hat is posed as if recoiling in fear and the cop scratching his head looks at a loss for words. Just some examples.

Totally unrelated. I noticed that your manufacturer info mentioned 10mm cabins and building for the French and Indian War and there's a discussion on my Yahoo Group about Pendraken 10mm F&I War figures being used with Muskets and Mohawks and wondered if you still produced them.
