No force is complete without missile and skirmish troops. Mercenary crossbowmen are some of the most versatile of such troops. Indispensable as missile support for advancing infantry, in a siege both on and under the ramparts, or to clear the battlefield from those pesky light foot skirmishers, human crossbows proved themselves many times, and are highly valued by human and Goblin lords. While not as agile as light infantry and not particularly useful in pursuit, their robust, large pavise shields, and honed marksmanship, makes them a painful thorn in side of Dwarven slingers, Orc archers, or in fact any other missile troops on the battlefield.
With this set, you get STL files allowing you to 3Dprint five different, unique and detailed models of such human mercenary crossbowmen, with or without pavise shields. Although designed for the Chronica Goblinorum, these can easily be used in many other fantasy settings, as well as many historical settings around XIV-XV centuries.
