Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

Command Combat: Civil War – 1864 Expansion
Price: $4.99 USD

Publisher: Bandwagon Games

Warning: This is an expansion to Command Combat: Civil War – 1861. Be sure to get that book before you get this one.

The war between the states is now in its fourth and final year, and everything is coming to a dramatic climax. The goals for both sides have become clear, and large armies are maneuvering into position for the final blow to their enemies.

In Command Combat: Civil War, you take the role of a real historical general leading his forces into battle. Play as the stoic Ulysses S. Grant, the legendary Robert E. Lee, the animated and passionate William T. Sherman, the hesitant but beloved Joe Johnston, or one of many other famous and colorful generals from the Civil War.

This third expansion in the Command Combat: Civil War series introduces generals and units from 1864. These reflect the growing industrial strength of the Union and the determined defensive works of the Confederacy. The North gets access to weapons such as repeating rifles and train artillery while the South gets special rules and generals that increase their defensive capabilities.

This expansion also includes rules for playing campaign games where players maneuver their armies over vast distances and fight battles whose results affect the entire region, and carry over from one fight to the next. Create your own campaign using the rules, or use one of these historical ones included in the book: The Red River, Overland, and Atlanta campaigns.

Combine your army in lists from the core rulebook, or any other expansion with armies you build from this book. Then fight it out with your friends using the unique and easy Command Combat game system. Put on the general's uniform and lead your men to victory in the most dynamic struggle in American history!
