unknown member reports:

According to a video news report (see link below), Rick Berry of Michigan Toy Soldier has pleaded guilty to making $189,000 USD in fraudulent charges to the credit card of film director and miniatures collector Peter Jackson.

Still from news video

Berry claims his motivation was to save his business, which he told me suffered some reverses in 2009. "I went through a real bad time in my business when a former partner drained (stole) the money from my bank account... It nearly put me out of business but I am slowly coming out of the mess. I spent countless hours and methods trying to recover the money but it was not to be."

Berry now acknowledges using Peter Jackson's credit card to purchase items for his store. Sentencing is scheduled for next week, when he is expected to get 12-18 months in jail.
