Aussiejed of Eureka Miniatures writes:

Following our very popular Beowulf and retinue set, comes this Saladin and followers set. Representing a cross section of the Muslim warriors who fought valiantly against the infidels, as well as some individual character models, such as Sibyan al Rikab.

This collection can be purchased individually, or as set at a generously reduced price.

Alan Marsh has sculpted a tremendous range of Muslims for us, and Kosta Heristanidis has painted them to an equal standard. Saladin himself has been modeled on a statue in the Egyptian Military Museum in Cairo. No contemporary images of the great commander exist, and we felt that paying tribute to the Egyptian version was fitting, rather than some idealized Victorian version.

Saladin and Saracens

Unique items to this range are the wonderful dromedary drummer and the parasol bearer, Sibyan al Rikab.
