Jeff Trnka of JTFM Enterprises writes:

JTFM Enterprises / Die Waffenkammer is proud to present the SdKfz.123 Panzerspähwagen II Ausf.L "Luchs 5cm".

This model is amalgamation of two of our existing kits - the Luchs (hull) mastered by Mike Broadbent, and the SdKfz.234/2 Puma (turret) mastered by Tony Ashcroft - plus a few bits added in house.

Luchs 5cm

The Luchs 5cm was intended to replace the original Luchs design, giving it more punch with the addition of a 5cm Kw.K L/60 gun mounted in an SdKfz.234/2 "Puma" turret. With the cancellation of the project, the upgrade was never implemented. I am sure that with all the battlefield modifications made by the Germans, that it could have been possible for the Luchs 5cm to have made it into service.

The model, even if it was never actually fielded, will add some extra firepower to your German recce units... and I'm sure that Weird World War II collectors will find a use for it.

The model will come with a command figure and our usual goodly assortment of stowage.

The Luchs 5cm will be made available to all of our stockists.

The model is available in the webstore: Code DE056.

The retail price is $25.00 CAD. (That's approximately £16.00 GBP or €19.00 EUR, for all our friends overseas.)

The Luchs 5cm is also available as a platoon: Code PSDE023, retailing at $70.00 CAD (approximately £44.00 GBP or €53.00 EUR).

More great models to come!

Cheers!
