Patrick, these are beautiful ships! Very reminiscent of the Houston's Ships custom builds. They'd look great on any table. I do need one more Chinese Junk, hmmmm

The Lady Agatha and a Junk fit for a warlord, built by Mr. Bob First, are now offered for sale on his Rum Runners! models page.

Each is one-of-a-kind, and either may be used for RPGs and historical scenarios of all kinds.

Lady Agatha

War Junk

Sturdily built entirely from pine for years of use, with brass railings, full-color printed graphics, white-metal-cast ship fittings, wooden masts, and funnel (removable for shipment), Lady Agatha is 20" in overall length, 6" wide at the paddlewheel housings, and 4" high to the bridge.

Her sense of period and place should appeal to any Victorian-era devotee. Whether used as a blockade runner for the ACW, passenger ship to all points of the world, or even a research vessel for adventures in search of lost worlds, dinosaur islands, or just a proper cup of tea.

The junk is 15" long and 5" wide, with masts over a foot tall, and loaded with metal castings and handmade pieces, plus guns big enough to satisfy even the most power-mad warlord. Such a vessel could be used for games set anytime across the 19th and into the 20th centuries, and crewed with your choice of Chinese or other pirates and soldiers.

Figures mounted on ¾" bases will fit virtually everywhere on both models. And when not in action on your tabletop, either one will be a prize display on your mantelpiece or bookshelf, or in your miniatures cabinet.

The price for each is $175.00 USD (plus postage, insurance, etc.), and will be mailed when suitably boxed and safely packed, immediately upon purchase.

More photos and description of both models appear on the Run Runners! page at TVAG. Any questions may be sent to TVAG@att.net to be answered right away.

And… no, Bob hasn't gone mad, nor given up on commission-built tramp steamer and other vessels related to the Rum Runners! theme – he just wanted to see what his customers make of these beauties.
