The original Imperial Starfire book was released in 1993 by Task Force Games, and republished in 2012 by the Starfire Design Studio. This PDF contains only the rulebook.
The Imperial Starfire rulebook was designed by David M. Weber, the author of the Starfire novels. Imperial Starfire contains all of the rules necessary to play the strategic "campaign" part of the Starfire system. These rules allow players to control a custom race to build an interstellar empire, and expand into the universe through exploration, research and conquest. Imperial Starfire requires the 3rd Edition Tactical Rulebook to play out the starship combats that result from the strategic gameplay.
