Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

Barracks for Gruntz 15mm 1.25

Barracks

Publisher: Rottenlead Publishing

This is the Gruntz 15mm Barracks application. It is a desktop application, including a download for Windows and Mac OS users.

Barracks allows you to set-up unit cards, print them, and save the JPG of the card for future use. The unit types include those in the Gruntz game, and it was designed to print the cards so you can store them in collector sleeves, or group the JPG images on a sheet by using Word or an equivalent program to group the JPG profiles together.

You can use your own unit images, or any other artwork like a faction logo can be placed as the image in the application. It is best to use a camera phone or normal camera photo of your own models, because you get an excellent visual reference on the card to the actual models you intend to use in the game.

Sample card

In this sample card, you can see the Imperator Mecha which is an official Gruntz 15mm multi-part resin model, which can be purchased from Critical Mass Games in the U.K. I have dragged a photo onto the card to be used as a visual reference, and all the various statistics can be tweaked to allow adjustments in payload, skill, size class, etc. The various unit types are listed along the top bar.

This video is an overview of the project we completed to create the Gruntz 15mm Barracks application. If you watch the video from a point at about four minutes, you can see a demo of the application in action.

Price: $5.00 USD
