As a side note, the ACW80 figures were considerably higher quality than the ACW1 figures I was originally talking about. I do a side-by-side comparison between the two. This gives me hope in Perry Miniatures again. :-)

We now have available the Reuss and Waldeck troops of the Confederation of Rhine. These made up the 2nd Battalion, 6th Regiment of the Rhinebund contingent. I've added a battalion breakdown to the lists up on the site. Once again Peter Bunde's plates are recommended for all the info you'll need for this colorful battalion. Go to brigade-uniform-plates.de plates no. 11 and no. 235. The 1st Battalion was made up of the Schwarzburg Principalities, which will be out soon, quickly followed by the Mecklenburg-Schwerin battalions.

As you might be able to tell, some of the codes could be useful for other things – especially NCR 35, a fairly plain campaign uniform which could be used in South American, Spanish and even French armies around and just after this period.

I have started the Bavarians, and am catching up with 'NR' who has made a fantastic job of all the equipment needed for them… more of that later.
