Excellent figures, well done Eureka – already added them to the painting backlog! Is there any likelihood of ninja bunnies in addition to the samurai?

Aussiejed of Eureka Miniatures writes:

Not content with their secret subterranean world, a new force has emerged in the meadows to challenge the Warrior Frogs for supremacy of the river bank! The Samurai Rabbits, with their code of Big-Eared Bunny Bushido, are suddenly springing from their burrows and striking at the Frogs when they least expect it. All designed and sculpted by Kosta Heristanidis, and inspired by the work of Japanese artist Kawanabe Kyosai.

Rabbit Samurai clash with Warrior Frogs

A few years ago at Historicon (the big U.S.A. gaming convention), a visitor to the Eureka Miniatures trade stand saw our Warrior Frogs and suggested we had "cornered the market in whimsy." We rather liked that! Kosta's Pond Wars range of 28mm anthropomorphic river bank warriors (frogs, turtles, terrapins and toads) has since proved very popular, so we thought we would serve up another slice of whimsy in the guise of our Samurai Rabbits.

Rabbit Ronin

However – if you are searching for cute Easter Bunnies, you have come to the wrong place – we only have the fiercest rabbit warriors to ever leave the warren. You can choose from unarmored Ashigaru rabbits armed with naginata, or armored samurai rabbits swinging their katana, in either helmet (ears suppressed) on heroic bare-headed (ears rampant) pose. We can even offer you the darker side of Big-Eared Bunny Bushido – the Rabbit Ronin, sporting their sinister back banners. Dispossessed and exiled from their burrows, the Rabbit Ronin lurk in the darkest hedgerows, and are as likely to offer their services to the Warrior Frogs than fight alongside their rabbit brethren.

Here are the catalog details for the new miniatures in the current release –
